Why Visit Davao?
Davao is Mindanao's biggest city — clean, orderly, surprisingly safe (a strict liquor curfew and smoking ban in public are taken seriously). It's the launchpad for Mount Apo (the country's highest peak), Samal Island's beach resorts, and the only place outside Asia where you can smell durian on every corner.
